Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Applies cash receipts to customer accounts. Monitor and contact assigned customer accounts to discuss open receivable items. Deduction process analysis.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.

  • Researches, identifies and resolves any billing problems by contacting the customer, customer service, or other appropriate departments to determine the source of the problem.
  • Prepares accurate monthly billing adjustments based upon account information.
  • Applies cash receipts to customer accounts.
  • Generates and reviews various reports including daily and monthly cash receipts, ATB's, etc.
  • Deduction process analysis and subsequent system application.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
  • Required: Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D certification and 1 years experience in an accounting environment or equivalent job duties.
  • Preferred: Experience with confidential files, documents and other information.
