Job Description

The Academic Partnerships Operations Manager plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the operational aspects of academic partnerships within our organization. This role involves overseeing the implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of processes related to academic collaborations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partnership Management: Manage relationships with academic institutions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operational activities related to academic partnerships, including contract management, budgeting, and compliance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within academic partnership operations.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate projects and initiatives that involve academic partnerships, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data and metrics related to academic partnerships to measure performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations on the status and outcomes of academic partnership activities for internal stakeholders.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures related to academic partnerships to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to a team involved in academic partnership operations, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or combination of education and experience
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in operations management, preferably in an academic or educational setting
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook), Google Suite
  • Ability to maintain records and process in Salesforce
  • Experience in contract management, budgeting, and compliance.
  • Leadership skills with experience in leading and motivating a team
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and manner

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is currently a remote based position where work will be completed during normal business hours (approximately 8:30am - 5:00pm).
