LJB's Finance and Accounting (F&A) team is looking for a motivated Accounting Intern who is eager to develop foundational accounting skills while being part of something bigger than themselves. As an Accounting Intern, you will support our F&A team with key accounting tasks and gain exposure to various aspects of corporate finance. This role will give you practical experience in project setup, customer billing, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions, providing a valuable foundation for your future career.

Pay: $18+

ACCOUNTING INTERN ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in processing invoices, preparing billing statements, and posting payments.
• Record journal entries under supervision, including adjustments and accruals.
• Support the preparation of basic financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
• Help maintain organized records for audits and ensure all necessary documents are stored properly.
• Support management with specific projects that help enhance overall business efficiency
• Other duties as assigned.

STAFF ACCOUNTANT ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:

Education:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
• Junior or Senior students are preferred.

Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational skills combined with strong attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of Excel as well as other Microsoft Office tools.
• Demonstrate professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and possess excellent communication and customer service skills required
• Highly motivated and eager to learn, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
