Accounting Operations Accounts Payable Lead

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona

(in-office during training/hybrid after training)

Position overview:

Reporting directly to the Accounting Operations Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day Accounts Payable operations. Ensures expectations of customers and AP Depart KPI's. This position will be hands-on as needed to keep up with work volume and will lead activities of the AP team.

Duties:

• Lead Accounts Payable Team

• Detailed reconciliation

• Work with manager to plan, assign and review the Accounts Payable teams work

• Review payables to verify coding documentation and approvals are correct

• Review invoice log to ensure payables are paid in a timely manner

• Monitors performance status of the team providing feedback and continued training as needed.

• Assist in all quarterly research and compilation of SOX requirements

• Ad Hoc reporting as required

• Assists team members in handling issues

• Month-end close

Qualifying Requirements:

• Degree in accounting, finance or business

• 2+ years of leadership experience within Accounts Payable

• SAP software experience preferred
