Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to manage their company's payables process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and process invoices in compliance with company policies.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of accounts payable transactions.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers, checks, and payment batches.
• Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and 1099 reporting requirements.
• Perform 3-way invoice matching to verify accuracy between purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems is required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
