Position Title: Application Programmer V

Location: Charlotte, NC 28202/ Atlanta, GA

Expected Duration: 12 Months with possibility of extension

Job Type: 40 hours work week

Pay Rate: $60.00/hr - $68.00/hr on W2

Job Description
10+ years of experience implementing or architecting high performing, resilient and scalable enterprise systems
Advise management on opportunities and assessed risks.
Develop and publish architecture reference material and patterns to drive designs for consensus and approval, being able to translate easily from technical to non-technical language.
Expertise in applications using Java EE, Spring MVC, Selinium, ALM, qTest, Angular, node.js
Knowledge of Application servers like weblogic/IBM Websphere portal/Jboss EAP
Knowledge of Secure coding practices OWASP
Knowledge of code quality assurance tools like SonarQube
Experience with GIT/Bitbucket
Proficient with DevOps / CICD and code packaging tools like Maven
Should have a good knowledge on Mulesoft Mule ESB platform and implementation
Experience in working in a Agile team and using JIRA (and familiar with SAFe Agile Practices).
Good Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Required Skills:
Strong Python knowledge and experience
10+ years development experience in a financial firm
Ability to translate user requirements into working code
Excellent problem solving / investigation abilities.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and team-working skills

Desired Skills:
Experience of development on an enterprise-scale Python platform
Oracle DB development, including PL-SQL, index strategies, performance tuning and optimization for large scale databases
Knowledge of derivatives and fixed income markets
Ability to work closely with business groups including Trading, Finance, Quant and Markey Risk
Exposure to Agile methodology
Experience in CVA, FVA, Credit Risk Management and CSAs
