What you'll do:The Application Security Intern will assist with IT projects, initiatives and assist with support. Projects may include:
- .Net C# application development and interaction with Azure.
- Application and API troubleshooting; Interaction with end-users
- Securing APIs and Applications for internal and external use.
- Analyze problems, gather requirements, and determine and implement a solution.
- Apply skills in the areas of: requirements definition, vulnerability discovery, security hardening of existing products, and defensive control capability implementations.
- Responsible for researching and recommending security products that could be used in the environment to increase security posture and enhance security usability.
What you need:
- Current enrollment in a college degree program
- At least 6 earned college credit hours related to computer science and/or Cybersecurity
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 above
Bonus if you have:
- Experience in any of the following: Software Development using C#, APIs, OAuth 2.0, Securing Applications or APIs, Azure APIM or related API Management technology, Web Application Firewall (WAF), GitHub and/or GitLab, Ethical hacking, Identity and Access administration.
- Critical, Logical, and Results-driven thinking
- Knowledge and working experience with MS Word, Excel, and general IT infrastructure components; including but not limited to servers, desktops, and/or databases.

Compensation:Minimum hourly rate starting at $25.00
