Salary:Commensurate with experience.
Required:The ideal candidate must possess an earned Ph.D. or Ed.E. in Educational Leadership or closely related field from an accredited institution with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching graduate level courses, academic research and service.
Preferred:Experience as a practicing educational leader, serving as a principal, assistant superintendent is strongly preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with strong work ethic, interpersonal, and teamwork skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; great disposition; and superior working relations with students, peers, administrators, and others. Experience in teaching courses through Blackboard and web-course development is strongly desired.
Must have the ability to teach a broad range of graduate level Education courses as well as courses in the specialty area of Educational Leadership. Responsibilities include teaching, supervision of practicum and/or internship students, preparing degree plans, advising students, and active participation in departmental and university activities. Teaching assignments are web-based.
