Job Description
The Departments of American Studies and Women's and Gender Studies at Wellesley College invite applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the level of assistant professor in the field of Queer and Trans Studies to begin July 2025. In particular we seek a candidate whose work and teaching centers questions of race and Queer of Color Critique. The ideal candidate would be an excellent teacher with a breadth of interests appropriate to a liberal arts undergraduate institution as well as a strong commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship.

This position involves a four course per year teaching load.
