Job Qualifications

Applicants should possess a J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school or its equivalent. The potential to engage in high quality research and teaching is required. Interest or experience in Health Law is preferred, as is practice experience in tort law, health law, or related fields.

The School of Law

The School of Law at Wake Forest University, which was established in 1894, has grown in prominence and is consistently ranked among the top law schools in the nation, currently ranked #25 in the overall U.S. News & World Report Law School Rankings and #5 in Legal Writing.

The mission of Wake Forest Law is to advance the cause of justice by creating knowledge and educating students to meet the legal needs of the world with confidence, character, and creativity. The court provides an excellent forum for students to see an actual working court in action as the majority of the hearings are open to the public.
