We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic and innovative team of scientists in the Protein Production group under the Department of Large Molecules Research in US. We are committed to the rapid expression and purification of recombinant proteins and antibody or antibody-like proteins to advance exciting discovery research projects across Sanofi's portfolio, spanning immunology and inflammation, neuroscience, and rare blood disorders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Employ a range of host cell systems and express recombinant proteins and antibodies using established procedures.
  • Purification of recombinant proteins and antibodies using affinity-based and/or traditional chromatographic separation techniques.
  • Use automated purification platform, such as AKTA or HPLC.
  • Characterize and compiling the result packages for deliverable proteins and drug candidates by O.D. 280 quantification, SDS-PAGE, analytical HPLCs, endotoxin, western blotting, LCMS and protein specific quality assays.
  • Document, analyze, and present data in a well-organized written and oral format

About You

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences with at least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience in academia or industry is required
  • Past laboratory experience must include hands-on research experience with AKTA, and the ability to apply technical skills in the areas of cell culture, transient transfection of mammalian cells, and purification of recombinant proteins
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Mammalian cell (HEK, CHO), insect cells and/or E.coli protein expression experience
