SUMMARY
The Audio-Visual Technician II is responsible forinstalling, configuring, operating, disassembling, and troubleshooting audio visual equipment. Coordinates with clients on placement, integration, and ensures functionality of projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording and video-conferencing equipment for live events and meetings.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree and a minimum of one to three (1-3) years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Installs the required equipment as described by the client or organization.
Configures and Operates audio visual equipment to ensure proper functionality and compatibility with the event or meeting requirements.
Performs production editing, routine maintenance, and inventory tracking.
Disassembles and stores audio visual equipment as needed.
Ensures that all audio-visual equipment is fully functional before and during events or meetings.
Helps conduct tests and checks to verify that projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording, and video-conferencing equipment are working properly.
Troubleshoots audio visual equipment in case of any technical issues or malfunctions. Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve problems with the audio-visual equipment promptly to minimize disruptions during events or meetings.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associates degree and a minimum of one to three (1-3) years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.
