RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a Detroit MI-based automotive manufacturer who brings engineering, technology, and design together to create innovative vehicles, energy solutions, and in-vehicle services is seeking an Automotive Public Policy Coordinator.Specific Responsibilities of this Position:
  • Serve as a resource for the Public Policy organization to determine business impact of proposed legislation, including research and outreach to business units
  • Prepare presentation material to support Director of State Dealer Franchise Public Policy and Manager of Industry Dealer Affairs
  • Prepare communication material to inform affected business units on the status and outcome of legislative activities
  • Develop and maintain tracking reports on legislative activities
  • Maintain Microsoft Teams file page for Dealer Policy Center of Excellence
  • Maintain Microsoft SharePoint page for Dealer Policy Center of Excellence
  • Coordinate monthly newsletter material for Dealer Policy Center of Excellence
  • Meeting and event planning


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to think independently
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Comfortable working with all levels of leadership
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint)


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
