Description:
The Judge Group is seeking a Consultant to advice on Lithium-Ion Battery Line Process Manufacturing to support a global high risk insurance client.

Duration: 3+ Month Contract

Location: Remote - Supporting EST Hours

Seeking a Consultant with expertise in lithium ion battery production processes. This role supports the simulation of a full-scale battery production line by providing accurate and detailed input data on various production aspects. The ideal candidate will possess first-hand experience in a lithium battery manufacturing environment and have in-depth knowledge of the entire production chain, from raw material processing to battery pack assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed technical information on lithium ion battery production processes, including material processing, cell assembly, and pack assembly stages.
  
• Offer data on production cycle times, costs, and resource requirements at each stage of production.
  
• Deliver insights into equipment failure rates, types of failures, repair durations, and associated maintenance costs.
  
• Provide data on idle costs for machinery and resources, as well as labor requirements across different production stages.
  
• Address technical inquiries related to specific production processes and offer insights into optimizing workflow and efficiency.
  
• Assist in calculating production metrics such as resource utilization, production capacity, and cost-efficiency.
  
• Collaborate closely with the simulation team to ensure all production parameters are accurately reflected in the model.
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in lithium-ion battery production, with hands-on experience in manufacturing and assembly processes.
  
• Strong understanding of all stages in lithium-ion battery manufacturing, from raw materials to final battery assembly.
  
• Familiarity with production costs, processing times, labor needs, and equipment performance (including failure rates, downtime, and repair costs).
  
• Ability to provide accurate, detailed data related to production line metrics, maintenance requirements, and cost analysis.
  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical information into practical insights for the simulation team.
  

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with production line management, process optimization, and troubleshooting within a battery manufacturing environment.
  
• Ability to work independently and deliver comprehensive insights in a timely manner.
