RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Jacksonville, FL.Overview:The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, defining, and documenting both business and functional requirements. This role involves writing user stories, developing business requirement documents, creating UI mock-ups, decision trees, and other visual diagrams to support development efforts aligned with the Product Roadmap. The analyst will leverage subject matter expertise to guide product development, refine action plans, and offer recommendations and best practice insights to colleagues. As a subject matter expert, the Senior Business Analyst plays a leadership role, mentoring and guiding other business analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables and continuous improvement.REQUIREMENTS:
- In-depth knowledge of business analysis methodologies, standards, and best practices
- Technical expertise with a solid understanding of software development, web technologies, and SDLC processes
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
- Adaptable and able to shift priorities quickly in response to changing organizational needs
- Strong relationship management, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence others effectively
- Skilled at building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships with cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders, and end users
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a track record of driving initiatives to successful completion
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset, capable of identifying and resolving complex issues
- Self-driven and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Calm and professional under pressure, demonstrating good judgment, negotiation skills, and tact in all interactions
- Continuously seeks opportunities for improvement, challenges the status quo, and identifies areas for increased efficiency
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
