The Opportunity:

Mass General Brigham (MGB) Global Advisory is the systemwide platform providing leading advisory services and partnership opportunities to healthcare institutions around the world. This exciting business unit combines a broad set of advisory capabilities from across the MGB system with a significant investment program to take the business to the next level by enhancing the existing platform and driving growth in the business.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director, Project Management Office (PMO) or designee, MGB Global Advisory, this critical role supports the daily operations of a growing team and the execution of dynamic international projects.

The Business Analyst, Global Partnerships is a skilled multi-tasker with excellent time management and organizational skills. This role will coordinate multiple concurrent projects and support various members of the team at one time. The Business Analyst approaches work with a proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and should be eager to work in a team-oriented environment.

The successful candidate will be action-oriented, demonstrate careful attention to detail and be quickly responsive to team needs.

Key responsibilities:

Project implementation:

o Assists in developing and maintaining detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and dependencies.

o Partners with project leadership to plan project activities and risk mitigation approaches.

o Develops and updates reporting on project health and produces regular reports for leadership.

o Creates draft written documents for project meetings, workshops, working sessions at client sites and internal staff meetings; obtains edits from leadership constituencies as needed and ensures information is depicted with polished formatting and graphics.

o Participates in relationship building with external business clients by providing exceptional customer service and resourcefulness; exhibits professionalism in serving as a point of contact for external clients.

o Performs data analysis and drafts and converts data into persuasive presentations for leadership.

o Coordinates activities of MGB subject matter experts to support their assigned project responsibilities.

o Develops and disseminates project updates and documents between clients, project leadership, subject matter experts and MGB leaders.

o Proactively identifies potential issues / challenges to project implementation, escalates them to leadership, and supports devising contingency plans.

o Plans and leads coordination of international observer programs and serves as a point of

contact for observers' needs.

o Plans and organizes events for external business clients; represents and supports the project team at the events.

May coordinate highly complex travel arrangements for MGB subject matter experts and MGB Global Advisory team members, including securing and managing travel bookings (flights, hotels, etc.), obtaining travel visas, and assisting with financial reimbursements.

Business Development or Product Development:

o With direction from leadership, provides general support from lead generation through deal-making for both direct sales and strategic partnerships.

o Develops and maintains detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and dependencies for deals and Business Development projects.

o Develops first drafts: client-facing presentations; Initial Proposals; Project Roadmaps (e.g., high-level long-term visions and detailed near-term workstreams); Detailed Statements of Work; Agreements and Contracts.

o Documents meeting minutes/action plans from client calls.

o Provides general lead generation support for prioritized product-market targets, e.g.: pursues leads generated from MGB internal efforts; identifies leads through proactive research; performs market research on specific leads, general market dynamics/unmet needs, competitors, etc.

o Manages and leads execution of potential client and partner visiting delegations to MGB facilities.

o Collaborates and coordinates with Sr. Operations Manager, BD to execute on day-to-day contracting - e.g., NDAs, MOUs, proposals, definitive agreements, etc.

o Collaborate with Product Development team to design and launch next-generation products and services (e.g., provide market insights, enable market-testing and pilot programs with existing customers).

• Other duties as determined by MGB Global Advisory leadership.

Working Conditions:

• This position is hybrid, with approximately 2 days per week in the office.

• This position may involve travel in support of project execution and business development as needed up to 4 times per year; more as mutually agreeable.

• This position may involve work outside usual working hours and some travel, with advance notice.

• Local travel to Mass General Brigham sites

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear; use hands to finger; handle; or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop; kneel; or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.

• The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Normal office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate.

Qualifications
Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project administration, project management, operations, or other directly relevant business experience.

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Professional level (written and verbal) fluency in Mandarin or Arabic is highly desirable for this role.

• Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint) required, and adept at learning new software applications.

• Experience working with a project management software (Microsoft Project, SmartSheet, Workfront, or similar) desired.
