RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is seeking a Category Merchandising for a client in Beaverton, OR. This role will be focused on consumer insights, assortment planning, Go to Market, and product management activities. Responsibilities:- Acts as an expert in building Consumer Right Assortments for assigned category & location
- Briefs the product engine on the needs of the consumer for both the category/geography and upcoming trends
- May work across the product engines to ensure that product is being created with the retail end in mind
- Edits the product line for assigned location and category using both directed assortment and selecting the line outside of the global core product with a goal of meeting revenue targets
- Builds directed assortments that supports category vision, working with geographies with retail end in mind
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of experience; Can be a combination of retail and buyer/merchandising
- Buyer experience
- Merchandising experience
- Retail experience
- Customer Service experience
- Experience in Footwear & Apparel preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
