Farm Credit of Northwest Florida, ACA is $400 million federally-chartered Farm Credit System-affiliated association headquartered in Marianna, Florida with offices located in Jay, Milton, Tallahassee, and Monticello. Farm Credit of Northwest Florida operates as an agricultural and rural lender through a business structure of a stockholder-owned cooperative. The association makes and services loans for farms, ranches, timberland, recreational properties, agribusiness firms and rural homes.
Position Requirements:
Farm Credit of Northwest Florida, ACA is seeking a visionary highly-motivated Chief Executive Officer with a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics or Agricultural Economics and ten (10) years or more of proven banking experience in fiscal operations, lending/credit, finance and accounting with the direct responsibility for achieving Board-established financial goals and objectives through the organization and management of a professional employee team. Five (5) years or more experience in a supervisory/management capacity in a financial institution, excellent oral and written communication skills and a broad-based knowledge of the Farm Credit System and agricultural and agribusiness credit functions/operations are also required.
CEO Overview:
This position will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all of the corporate functions of the association to ensure its efficient operations and ongoing solid financial results that will benefit the stockholders and employees of the association. The CEO is responsible for generating and servicing credit-worthy loans and financially-related products in the association's 18-county chartered territory under the policies and procedures outlined by the association Board of Directors, AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, and the Farm Credit Administration. This position oversees strategic business planning and budget preparations; budget adherence and variance reporting; compliance with established audit, Internal Controls over Financial Reporting, and Sarbanes Oxley controls; planning and execution of an effective business development program including advertising and public relations activities; association general ledger and loan portfolio accounting systems and processes; and maintains the association's public image as a viable customer-focused financial institution.
The CEO ensures association functions are in compliance under the policies and procedures outlined by the Board of Directors, AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, and the Farm Credit Administration. The successful candidate will oversee complex credit transactions and provide leadership to the Board on new market and revenue opportunities, credit participations, financial products and services, and will model superior customer service to all stakeholders and prospective customers of the association. This position is accountable for the organization of the headquarters and branch office network; the establishment of office procedures and delegation of authorities; the formal annual strategic planning process and development of goals, objectives and action plans; internal and quality controls; job performance standards; salary administration; and performance evaluations of employees.
The salary range for the position is $247,300-$316,600 and up to 9% employer contribution to your 401K as part of a full benefit package. Proficient in English and Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
