Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated Clinical Receptionist to join their client's team in New Haven. This role is integral to ensuring smooth and efficient operations in a clinical setting, focusing on both patient interaction and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Representative duties:

  • Handle all incoming calls from patients.
  • Greets patients when they enter the department, assisting them with paperwork needed for their visit.
  • Creates patient bump lists as necessary due to last minute provider call outs and reschedule appointments if needed.
  • Schedules patient appointments and address any cancellations or changes in appointments.
  • Updates patient information and verifies insurance information.
  • Obtains a referral if required for the patients visit.
  • Collects all co pays at the time of visit.
  • Books diagnostic tests and specialized appointments for patients at hospitals and other medical facilities.
  • Schedules surgical procedures for patients if needed.
  • Obtains medical records, and patient charts and reviews them to ensure they are completed properly.
  • Utilize Epic system for all documentation, testing, and reporting.


Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a clinical or medical office setting is required. Minimum of 2-3 years experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including data entry and management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Required Work Hours

The Clinical Receptionist is expected to work 37.5 hours Monday through Friday.
Pay Rate:

$27.00 per hour.
