SUMMARY
The Contract Manager is responsible for handling the day-to-day management and administration of project tasks. Develops detailed work plans and schedules in response to support service requests. Assigns staff responsibilities and supervises all staff efforts.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manages and allocates resources to ensure tasks are completed within scheduled milestones and budgetary constraints.
Develops, executes, and evaluates outreach communications strategies, plans, and activities, including short and long-term strategic communication plans for clients.
Reviews communication products for clarity, effectiveness, and alignment with image and messaging.
Transfers knowledge and skills to clients through facilitation, mediation, and/or training to support their success.
Performs quality checks on all work products.
Maintains continuous interaction with government technical representatives to present interim results, address concerns, and ensure overall satisfaction with products/services.
Supervises Yellow Ribbon Program Event Coordinators and provide oversight for Yellow Ribbon Events.
Provides specific recommendations for Standard Operating Procedures to the YRRP Program Manager for review and implementation.
Coordinates equipment movement for YRRP Pre-Deployment and Post-Deployment Events.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BA/BS in social science, education, or management and six (6) years of experience developing, implementing, and managing programs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.
Work may be performed in a factory, machine shop or construction environment. The job may require the use of protective equipment such as hard hats, respirators, aprons, gloves, special clothing, safety shoes and safety glasses.
