Job Summary:
The Accounting Controller General manages financial and cost accounting functions, focusing on manufacturing cost control, financial reporting, and budget forecasting. This role involves overseeing inventory accounting, implementing cost control measures, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; ensure accurate financial closings.

Cost Accounting: Manage cost accounting systems, product costing, and cost variance analysis.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Support budget creation and forecast manufacturing costs and capital expenditures.

Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accounting and ensure proper valuation of materials and finished goods.

Compliance: Ensure internal controls, regulatory compliance, and assist in audits.

Strategic Analysis: Provide cost analysis, profitability insights, and recommendations for cost optimization.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with operations and management to optimize financial performance.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CMA preferred.

Experience: 5-7 years in accounting, with 3+ years in manufacturing or cost accounting.

Skills: Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), Excel, and cost accounting principles.
