Educational and Experience Requirement:Bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience in a relevant field. Strong technology and problem-solving skills Detail- and process-oriented. Experienced in data collection, analysis, and reporting processes. Able to use database software and applications. Knowledge of best practices in data privacy and information security. Effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position:Performs multifaceted unit and program support related to educational assessment, student progress monitoring, and program improvement. Maintains platforms and uses technological tools to monitor assessments and to satisfy reporting needs. Completes assigned projects related to the work of the office.
Primary Responsibilities:Provides program support related to educational assessment, student progress/ placement monitoring, and program improvement. Assists with database information maintenance, tracking, uploads, and reports. Provides direct support to students, faculty, and staff. Assists with the monitoring of student worker assessment-related tasks. Prepares field experience binders. Generates and interprets student performance reports. Prepares data for and runs reports. Updates internal, interactive data dashboards. Supports office needs and operations; composes correspondence; and maintains communication with stakeholders. Attends and participates in team, unit, and committee meetings and keeps records/minutes as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
Other Specifications:Must possess knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to educator preparation. Works independently and collaboratively as needed. Communicates effectively with colleagues and internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with program evaluation, assessment, and accreditation in a higher education environment. Knowledge of accreditation software/applications and university-based platforms (e.g., Tk20, Watermark, LMS, Banner, Cognos, DegreeWorks) . Familiarity with accreditation processes and standards related to external accrediting bodies and professional organizations. Experience using data visualization tools and software. Graduate degree in educator preparation discipline.
