Position Title: Demand Planner
Contract Duration: 12 months+

OVERVIEW:
The Demand planner generates a weekly forecast of component demand to be consumed by procurement teams. This planner will also communicate different events/occurrences that will impact demand for repair/warranty services, how long it will impact demand then coordinate with supply teams to be sure Supply and Demand teams are aligned.

TOP SKILLS:

• Extensive experience in analyzing large data sets and conducting ad hoc analysis
• Knowledge of/Experience with reverse supply chain
• Experience in "Service" forecasting (rather than sales forecasting) preferably in a high-tech environment
  • Experience using service forecasting tools such as o9, JDE, Oracle, SAP, etc.
• Adept at merging data from a variety of sources in order to generate conclusions through analysis
• Advanced Excel Experience
  • Strong experience in pivot tables and V-Lookups
• User-Level Tableau Experience
• Experience extracting data from Snowflake, Oracle, or similar database

Education:
B.S. degree in related field plus 3-5 years of related experience, or advanced degree plus 1-2 years of related experience. Industrial engineering degree is a plus.

DAY TO DAY:

• Creating Demand forecast for materials or specific LOB
• Data analysis
• Cross functional team interaction with Supply teams to be sure there is coordination and alignment
