The Director of Product Development is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy for the software platform and products offered by Data and Analytics. The Director will be responsible for the identification and realization of attractive growth and alliance opportunities. The Director position is an organization transitional position that identifies and develops the leadership potential of talented professionals and effective managers.
What You Will Do:
- Significant strategic product experience including defining and driving product vision and management of multiple product portfolios.
- Proven track record of delivering data-driven products that meet business and customer needs.
- Exceptional command of SDLC methodologies, to include Agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and Waterfall and product development best practices.
- Possess an understanding of and appreciation for the concepts of Continuous Improvement and process thinking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of data platforms, cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern analytics tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- The human relations skills necessary to engender teamwork and positive morale, and motivate fellow professionals and staff. These skills are also necessary to develop client relationships on projects.
What You Will Need: Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 15 years of product management experience is required, with at least 5 of those in a management capacity.
