Volt is hiring a Drafter for our client in the Tipton/Muscatine, Iowa area.

As a Drafter, you will be involved in:

• Creating design sketches and models using SolidWorks.
• Creating engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturing.
• Maintaining AutoCAD technical documents.
• Preparing complete documentation packages for engineers.
• Verifying drawings are correct to specifications, codes, and other regulations.

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.

Shift: 1st shift (6:00 AM - 3:30 PM), with overtime opportunities

Job Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Mechanical Draft & Design, or similar technical field preferred. HS diploma required.
• Previous work experience with SolidWorks.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have a solid understanding of mechanics, hydraulics and tolerances.
• Experience with AutoCAD preferred, but on-the-job training is provided.
• Ability to work as both a team member and independently, have the desire to learn new skills, be self-motivated, dependable, and possess excellent communication skills.

Pay Rate: $21-$25 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc
