Your Role:
As an Engineering Technical Specialist in our cleanroom manufacturing environment, you will bridge the gap between maintenance and engineering, playing a critical role in supporting production operations and driving technical improvements. This position schedule is the following: Thursday-Monday, with working hours from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot mechanical and electromechanical systems, including manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment, to minimize downtime and improve reliability
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Engineers, Preventative Maintenance (PM) Technicians, and production staff to implement technical solutions and ensure operational excellence
  • Execute and Optimize Processes: Support validation protocols, modify and improve equipment setups, and contribute to process optimization projects
  • Document and Standardize: Create, revise, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Support Preventative Maintenance: Assist in designing and improving preventative maintenance plans based on equipment performance and historical data
  • Apply Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced knowledge of pneumatics, sensors, servos, and troubleshooting techniques to solve complex equipment challenges
  • Ensure Compliance: Uphold company policies, regulatory requirements, and cGMP standards while maintaining a cleanroom environment
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for technical enhancements, including automation, process improvements, and efficiency gains

Who You Are

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or other engineering disciplines
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on equipment troubleshooting and process improvement (pneumatics, sensors, and automation)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or other engineering disciplines
  • Experience in cleanroom manufacturing environments and familiarity with cGMP requirements
  • Proactive in problem-solving with a detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with technical documentation, equipment validation, and process optimization
  • Strong sense of urgency and a positive, solutions-focused attitude
