Details:

  • Pay: up to $62K ($30/hr)
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (can be flexible if you need 7am-3:30pm or 9am-5:30pm)
  • Location: in office in Minneapolis (not downtown, you have free parking available)
  • Type: long term permanent role
Responsibilities:
  • Receive requests for quotes (RFQ) for a product orders through the company's website, email or phone calls (minimal calls)
  • Calculate accurate estimates in response to customer orders and RFQs
  • Identify potential vendors or subcontractors
  • Review data to determine material and labor requirements.for each order
  • Consult with customers, vendors, and other individuals to discuss estimates and specific order requirements
  • Maintain positive professional relationships with customers
  • Review purchase orders, blueprints, and quality requirements - re-pricing existing jobs as needed
  • Follow a variety of work instructions
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in calculating request for quotes (RFQ) / request for proposals (RFP) or sales support experience - required
  • 2+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry - required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints - preferred
  • Excellent attendance
  • Any familularity of using Workwise (ERP) is helpful but can be taught
  • Experience in metal stamping/fabrication would be amazing but not required.
  • Strong math skills including decimals, fractions, and metric conversions.
  • Solid customer service/sales background.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail.
  • Able to pass a physical, drug screening and background check
