Executive Assistant to the Dean, Graduate College

Posting Summary:Provide executive administrative support to the Dean of the Graduate College, to include managing correspondence, complex calendar, travel arrangements, actions for the Graduate College Executive Committee, and support of the Dean's work on university and external committees. Prioritize and follow up on incoming issues addressed to Dean to optimize use of Dean's time and ensure timely completion of projects. Organize and coordinate special projects initiated by the Dean by designing and implementing project plans and tracking, evaluating, and reporting on determined outcomes. Support Dean's communications and maintain website for the Graduate College. Support efficient and effective Graduate College operations and signature event programming.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):Bachelor's degree and five years related and progressively responsible or expansive work experience to include managing complex calendars and project management required. Meticulous organizational skills and the ability to handle matters expediently and with high levels of accuracy. Clear and concise communication skills for interpersonal relationships with internal and external contact required. Demonstrated excellent written communication, analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with MS Office suite and demonstrated ability to gather information, produce documents, presentations, reports, and correspondence in short periods of time. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
Desirable Qualifications:Experience with Peoplesoft, WebXtender, Banner, Photoshop, Drupal, event management, and webpage maintenance highly desirable. Experience working in a College/University setting highly desirable, and preferably includes support of an executive level position.
Anticipated Pay Range:$28.25-$33.33/hr (approx. 55-65,000/year)
Special Conditions:Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
