The FFIP Staging Logistics Technician is responsible for managing inventory to support filling, inspection and packaging manufacturing operations. As inventory items are delivered from the central warehouse, FFIP Staging Logistics Technicians are responsible for physical put away of the items as well as the appropriate SAP transactions. In addition, they are responsible for placement of not inspected, inspected filled container and finished goods pallets in the respective building's cold room and related SAP transactions. Completion of the appropriate cold room log books in accordance with good cGMP documentation practices and follow departmental operating procedures are required. Technicians need to obtain and maintain proper certifications to operate powered material handling equipment and be able to use manual pallet jack equipment as needed. Technicians are responsible to execute the physical disposal of approved material disposal orders as well as support departmental administrative functions. In addition, manufacturing area trash is to be properly handled and coordinated for pick up. This position interacts with filling, inspection and packaging managers, staff and leadership, outside transportation services, waste management technicians, and outbound logistics and warehouse logistic technicians. This technician reports directly to the Deputy Director, FFIP Staging.

Main Responsibilities
Receiving and maintaining inventory (5%)
- Responsible for receiving production related materials from the central raw material warehouse.
- Once warehouse delivers the materials, items are to be compared to the order placed if applicable, and put away in the appropriate physical storage location using the appropriate automated or manual material handling equipment. The corresponding SAP transaction is to be performed.
- The physical inventory location is to be maintained in a neat and orderly fashion and periodic checks of physical inventory to the SAP inventory is to be performed.
WIP and FG Handling (20%)
Responsible for the physical movement of pallets using the appropriate material handling equipment for the following situations:
- Not inspected filled container pallets Inspected filled containers pallets SUFI pallets Finished good pallets
- Completion of the cold storage log book and Topp Clip form in accordance with cGMP documentation practices as pallets are moved from one facility to another facility.
- Ensure SAP transactions are performed near real time as inventory moves.
Cold Room/Freezer Inventory Management (25%)
- Ensure that the cold room or freezer is maintained in an orderly and neat fashion.
- Placement of pallets on the racking systems are correct and stored safely in the correct storage conditions and segregated areas as needed.
- Perform SAP inventory transactions as needed when pallets are moved within the cold room/freezer and other areas.
- Ensure that SAP inventory reflects the physical inventory.
Warm Room Inventory Management & Experimental Use (25%)
- Ensure that items that are in the MDO process or experimental use items are properly stored and moves from the cold room to the warm room as directed are performed in a timely manner.
- Perform appropriate SAP inventory transactions as needed when pallets are moved.
- Ensure SAP inventory reflects the physical inventory.
- Completion of the cold storage and warm room log book in accordance with cGMP documentation practices as pallets are moved from one room to the other room.
Material Disposal (15%)
- Ensure proper processing of approved material disposal orders into the appropriate disposal containers and send to the waste dock in the building.
- Communicate to the Sr Logistics tech upon completion of the physical disposal in order for the Sr Logistics Tech to properly close out the material disposal order in the system.
Compliance (5%)
- Completion and maintenance of required certification and licensure to operate powered material handling equipment associated with job performance duties.
- Completion of all assigned training modules, procedures, instructions, safety and compliance requirements as controlled by the company system.
All other duties assigned (5%)
About YouEducation/experienceThe FFIP Staging Logistics Technician is expected to have experience and knowledge including but not limited to the following:
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License (clean driving record)
- Ability to obtain DOT medical release
- Manual Material Handling equipment
- Minimum of 2+ years experience in warehousing/logistics
- Powered Material Handling equipment
- 24V Battery Charging stations
- SAP system inventory management knowledge
- Chart recorders
Certifications- Forklift Certification (required within one year of start date)
