The Finance team provides strategic decision support to Department of Medicine (DOM) leadership through financial analysis and management, reporting, and strategic planning. The team supports Divisions through the annual accounting cycle and also works closely with the central School's offices on financial matters. The team is responsible for managing a $450 million consolidated budget, including $245 million of clinical revenues, and for financial systems and processes that support the Department.
The Analyst supports decision-makers through integrated analysis and research, providing insight into the performance of faculty, their clinical activities, and clinical metrics. The role performs routine and ad-hoc financial reports to assist Leadership in decision-making and is responsible for data collection and interpretation using quantitative data collection methods.
The Analyst serves as primary liaison between the Department and the Divisions on all faculty-related financial matters ranging from faculty compensation, faculty productivity, faculty-controlled funds management, accounting and analytics. Working with the units and central office teams, the Analyst is responsible for providing comprehensive and ongoing support of key processes, such as faculty compensation planning and faculty reviews. The position reports to the Director of Finance.
Possibly to work remotely from a location in the United States upon mutual agreement with hiring manager.
