Fire Sprinkler Estimator

This position will join the estimator program and learn how to estimate fire sprinkler projects. You will play a crucial role in analyzing project requirements, site assessments, and providing accurate cost estimates for fire sprinkler systems.
*Essential Duties & Responsibilities:* 

* Prepare accurate and detailed fire sprinkler system layouts and estimates for commercial, residential, and industrial projects using software provided
* Review architectural and engineering drawings to determine the necessary materials, labor, and costs
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and write project scopes
* Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and equipment, negotiating favorable terms to optimize project budgets.
* Ensure all estimates comply with relevant local codes and standards
* Support design teams with overflow when needed
*Education/Qualification:*  

* CAD experience (preferred but not required)
* Fire Protection Industry experience a plus
* Construction experience (preferred but not required)
* Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and independently
* Effectively manages time to identify milestones and meet deadlines
* Must have excellent computer skills
* Proficient with Microsoft Office

*Physical Requirements:*
* This position may encounter light lifting of materials for delivery.
* Onsite demands would require walking and standing for long periods of time, climbing and descending ladders/steps.
