The Human Resources Assistant will support the Eurofins Discovery Human Resources Team in various administrative tasks, projects and daily activities. This role requires knowledge of various Human Resources functions. This position is Part-Time, M-F 20-24 hours per week flexible schedule.

  • Maintains and updates electronic records and personnel files in a secure and organized manner.
  • Updates global new hire orientation and monthly townhall slide decks.
  • Prepares and schedules onboarding for new hires, processes new hire IT setup requests.
  • Updates various HR weekly and monthly reports.
  • Processes simple HRIS transactions in Oracle HCM including terminations.
  • Oversees the voluntary termination process.
  • Tracks HR compliance trainings.
  • Assists with administration of various HR trainings, processes and programs.
  • Respond to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits and other HR-related matters
  • Handles confidential information with care and integrity.
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Provides cross-functional support to other departments, as required
  • Adjusts work hours as needed to meet client deadlines
  • Adheres to site environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Some experience with managing confidential documentation/information, preferably in an HR environment
  • Authorization to work in the US for any employer, indefinitely, without sponsorship
  • For all Eurofins Discovery Services Businesses in US; Successful applicants will be required to confirm positive COVID-19 vaccination status or demonstrate eligibility for medical or religious exemptions prior to commencing employment

  • Detail-orientation
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly with Excel and working with pivot tables
  • Familiarity with HRIS - Oracle HCM preferred
