Responsible for managing engagement programs and activities as well as providing coordination and support for all HR activities and initiatives. This role will coordinate/ facilitate key functions, build awareness, and drive participation in areas including but not limited to: recruiting, onboarding, wellness, engagement, and employee events. There will also be administrative tasks assigned by the HR Business Partner. Position requires a confidential and perceptive individual, capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide general administrative support for the HR Business Partner
  • Acts as a resource to the Human Resources department and assists in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures.
  • Provides assistance to employee inquiries, policy questions and employment-related concerns by directing employees to the proper HR resource(s).
  • Manages Recognition & Reward program.
  • Coordination of employee events such as EAW Activities, ERG events, employee luncheons, etc.
  • Coordination of offsite & onsite wellness activities such as Sports Leagues, 5K events, Blood Drives, Flu Shot Clinics, etc.
  • Drive participation in employee wellness program by engaging the SNC employees through communication of program offerings and wellness challenges.
  • Responsible for communication, meetings, and planning for special programs and projects.
  • Manage departmental expenses/AMEX receipts and reports.
  • Compile data and prepare reports and distribute reports as appropriate.
  • Schedules regular and special meetings, prepare agendas, pre-meeting materials, and records, transcribes, distributes (when applicable).
  • Works using confidential information with high integrity and discretion; responsible for confidentiality of information maintained within the department this includes all employees' files, correspondence and documentation, and discussions held within the department.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participates in the development of departmental goals, objectives, and programs.
  • Participates in the execution of all HR-related activities throughout the year.
  • Liaise with the HR Business Partner and Facilities teams as needed
  • Coordinate recruiting initiatives
  • Work with team on ad-hoc projects as needed

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work, and manage time
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance in only the most complex issues and situations.
  • Ability to research and analyze various types of information
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent "customer service" skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Project Management (preferred but not required)

Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field a plus
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel required
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, experience with Workday a plus
