BGIS is currently seeking a HVAC Recruiter - Remote (6 months/ with potential to hire) to join the team the role is U.S. based \"Remote.\"
The recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting in a fast paced, high-energy environment while strengthening the company's image as the employer of choice. At this position level, the individual is responsible for:
Recruit
- Full cycle recruiting experience - not a sourcing role!
- Builds a talent network within business-specific practitioner communities/program development
- Initiative to take on additional responsibilities to support Company's rapid growth
- Screens, interviews and manages active candidates
- Proactively networks and establishes effective working relationships
- Use of social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates
- Addresses legal and compliance issues related to talent acquisitions
- Insures that BGIS employment value proposition is communicated effectively by providing information on specific job and career advancement opportunities
- Selects and directly sources, interviews, qualifies, negotiates offers and hires candidates to fill open requisitions
- Adds value during the offer stage by ensuring candidate decision triggers are clearly understood
- Takes the lead and is resourceful and persistent in driving solutions to recruiting problems
- Demonstrate a strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement
- Track candidate workflows, source data, pre-screen information and all other metrics required•
- Creates Boolean and other complex search strings in both paid web boards and standard search engines
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Applicant Tracking System (Oracle Recruiting Cloud)
- Ability to work effectively and successfully as part of a team
- Ability to thrive as an independent contributor working as a consultant to hiring managers
- Ability to manage approximately 20-30 requisitions concurrently, with solid attention to detail and prioritization.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and complete assignments within time requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and associates
- Flexibility to adjust to changing work conditions, assignments, priorities
- Flexibility of daily working hours
- Manages additional HR projects as required
Development - Develops creative approaches to delivering quality candidates.
- Possess a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation by forgoing dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR business partners to meet Talent needs.
- Provides the highest quality of customer service for the organization and builds a long term high potential talent pipeline to feed future growth projection.
- Work with hiring managers to facilitate the interview process, including scheduling, debriefs, and offer negotiations.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates and provide feedback, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES - 3 to 5 years of demonstrated in recruiting with skilled trades experience (electricians, HVAC/refrigeration)
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
- Heavily networked and knowledgeable of leading search practices required.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion required.
- Some knowledge of multi-state and federal laws/regulations related to employment, such as EEO, ADA, OFCCP, and general HR practices preferred.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) would be a PLUS
- Military/Veteran recruiting is a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment - Ability and willingness to travel regionally.
- Must be able to drive to job and recruiting sites, frequently in and out of car.
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time
