Description: Our client is currently seeking a Integration Tech II A Shift - WA

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Precision Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves the assembly of a variety of structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanically actuated component sub-assemblies for our cutting-edge aerospace projects, including New Shepard, New Glenn, and Engine's components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform precision assembly of hydraulic components and structural components to aerospace standards, including precision drilling and close tolerance fastener installation.
  • Collaborate with engineers to review design concepts, provide feedback for ease of assembly, and support development tests.
  • Review, edit, and follow detailed work instructions for assembly tasks.
  • Plan and communicate assembly steps for complex mechanical installations.
  • Handle hazardous systems containing chemicals and/or high pressure safely.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, adapting to multiple and rapidly changing priorities.
  • Utilize excellent problem-solving skills to overcome assembly challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in precision assembly.
  • Proficient in drilling and preparing close tolerance holes for structural assembly.
  • Ability to document and maintain accurate records, with strict adherence to procedural compliance.
  • Skilled in using standard tools and basic fabrication equipment.
  • Proven experience in assembling and troubleshooting aerospace or military hardware.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion and maintaining professional relationships.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs, and work in confined spaces.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration.
  • 5+ years in aerospace or related fields.
  • A&P license or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of pressurized system safety and operation of heavy lifting equipment.
  • Proficiency with 3D measurement tools and Spatial analyzer/Verisurf software.
  • Understanding of rocket propellants and 3D CAD tools (CREO preferred).
