ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP Invenergy's Interconnections team pushes the boundaries of transmission design and capability. The team solves complex technical challenges to achieve sustainable and economical interconnection solutions that integrate new generation and transmission technologies to the grid. This internship will be a great opportunity for someone with enthusiasm to contribute to the sustainable energy transformation happening all over the world and to increase their knowledge of the IPP side of the energy business. You will interact with diverse teams and learn various aspects of the renewable energy sector. If you are looking for that learning and working environment which can kick start your energy sector career, this role is for you.
The Interconnections intern will: - Perform power flow analysis as part of generation and transmission development activities.
- Provide support for the Engineers in the team on various generation and transmission related technical analyses
- Review interconnection study reports to provide relevant technical summary for the team
- Assist with excel tool development where necessary
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and Summer 2026.
- Majoring in Electrical Engineering
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Demonstrated interest in the renewable energy or clean energy sector.
Base Pay22.00 - 25.00 USD Hourly
