WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Interim Program Management: This role will include a period of family leave coverage for approximately 3 months. During this time, this person will report into the VP of Central Operations, working on a range of strategic projects, including developing communications plans for company-wide initiatives, executing all day-to-day internal communications, and coordinating company-wide meetings.
  • Internal Communications Support and Project Management: Following the period of leave coverage, this role will continue to support the internal communications function, working closely with the Sr. Manager to continuously assess communications efficiency and drive engagement across all channels, with a focus on metrics and reporting. This person will be responsible for the maintenance of our central communications platform, will lead key communications projects, and contribute to strategic company-wide off-site events.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to support communications for various projects, including design, timelines, and distribution. The person in this role will gain insight and exposure to the company's business and operations, have the opportunity to be part of an inclusive environment, and interact with colleagues across the organization.
WHAT YOU NEED
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years experience in internal communications preferred.
  • Strong background in internal communication with experience operating in a complex, fast-paced organization.
  • Experience in communications websites and platforms.
  • Strong communications skills; ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Experience working with multi-unit organizations. High level of customer service, organizational, and writing/editing skills. Project management experience a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the local region to surrounding VEG Hospitals on an as needed basis.
  • This is an in-office hybrid position at our HQ in White Plains, NY.
