Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Communications Specialist & Administrative Coordinator who will bridge the gap between technical communications and essential administrative tasks. This unique role combines IT department support with creative communications, event planning, and day-to-day administrative duties.

Job Responsibilities

  • IT Communications:
    • Develop and implement IT communication strategies to keep internal stakeholders informed and engaged.
    • Draft, edit, and disseminate IT-related announcements, newsletters, and updates.
    • Maintain and update the IT department's internal website and communication channels.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support to the IT department, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and organizing travel arrangements.
    • Coordinate and order lunches for team meetings and events.
    • Plan and execute IT department events, including team-building activities, training sessions, and celebrations.
    • Manage office supplies and inventory for the IT department.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects and initiatives.
    • Ensure effective communication and coordination between IT team members and other departments.
    • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation as needed.
Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of work experience in communications, preferably within a corporate or IT environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with event planning and administrative tasks is a plus.
