POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Systems Analyst will provide in-person systems support, analysis, and troubleshooting related to computer systems, hardware, and software for the organization, with a significant focus on cyber security.

This is a full-time, direct hire position which will be onsite in Plymouth, MN. Target compensation is between $90-120k.

Candidates must be local to the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN metro area and must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, both now and in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cyber Security Documentation: Edit and create procedural documents relating to cyber security.
  • CMMC Compliance: Work with third-party cyber security experts to identify Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and achieve Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) within approximately one year.
  • Systems Problem Identification: Coordinate with managers and users to identify system problems and cyber security gaps, assess the severity of issues, and prioritize responses appropriately.
  • Risk Management: Perform risk assessments, audits, and review penetration tests to ensure the proper functioning of data processing activities and security measures.
  • Data Access Control: Identify and restrict access to sensitive, confidential, or other high-security data using the principle of least privilege.
  • Project Collaboration: Collaborate on or manage projects, including communication, documentation, and reporting.
  • Policy Development: Collaborate to create policies, reference guides, and tutorial documents.
  • Industry Standards Monitoring: Monitor IT industry standards and best practices, incorporating them into company's technology operating environment.
  • IT Infrastructure Projects: Contribute to or lead server and other IT infrastructure-based projects as assigned.
  • IT Service Desk Escalation: Act as an escalation point for IT Service Desk Analysts, which may include end-user or workstation support.
  • Professional Development: Develop acceptable work habits, skills, knowledge, and contributions consistent with the IT Systems Analyst position.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in MIS, IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as an IT Analyst or in a similar function.
  • IT Security Experience: Experience in IT Security.
  • Certifications: CISSP or CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Windows Server, DNS, TCP/IP, encryption, firewalls, switching, VLAN, and SSL certificates.
  • Cloud Administration: Experience with the administration of Azure/O365.
  • Collaboration Tools: Administrative experience with SharePoint and Teams.
  • Problem Solving: Analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organization: Organized with attention to detail.
  • Self-Motivation: Motivated self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with CMMC, ITAR, and related regulations preferred.
  • Language Skills: Ability to communicate in Hmong and/or Spanish, i
