The Lead Software Engineer is responsible for building highly performant auction-based systems, partnering with and leading a cross-functional team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, ensuring best practices in software development and system architecture.


  • Drive continuous improvement in code quality, performance, and scalability.


  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.


  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize features and functionality.


  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and uptime.


  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.


  • Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the development team.


  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.


  • Proven experience in designing and developing high-performance auction-based systems.


  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, Java, or similar.


  • Expertise in system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.


  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).


  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with machine learning and data analytics.


  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.


  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.


  • Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).


  • Familiarity with call center technologies and CRM systems
