Position: Non-Judicial Foreclosure Paralegal Assistant
Location: Fully Onsite

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 DOE

Job Summary:

Our client, a boutique law firm in Carlsbad, is seeking a motivated, organized, and positive individual to join their team as a Legal Administrative Assistant. This full-time, onsite role supports lead Paralegals in the Non-Judicial Foreclosure Department with various tasks in a fast-paced environment, requiring excellent communication, organizational skills, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Non-Judicial Foreclosure actions, including preparing and recording liens and Notices of Default.
  • Review and update delinquent owner's accounting ledgers, calculating late fees and interest charges.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize demand letters.
  • Perform title searches and online research.
  • Use billing and calendaring systems.
  • Research potential active bankruptcy cases.
  • Prepare and transmit documents for recording.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience in a law firm, banking institution, accounting, or collections firm preferred.
  • High school diploma required; Paralegal Certificate highly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Quick learner capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
