Description: One of our best clients is currently seeking a Maintenance tech for their day shift. Facility is located just outside of Anderson SC.

Job Description: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our meat processing equipment and facilities. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on meat processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
