The Manager Finance - Manufacturing will be supporting the Director of Manufacturing Finance with tactical and strategic projects as well as serve as a backup plant controller in case of a need across the country. This role will combine traditional plant controller responsibilities but will also look at efficiency projects across the finance and manufacturing organization.

For this position we are looking for somebody with some manufacturing and some corporate finance experience. We are looking for a change agent who is also flexible in shifting priorities depending on the situation.

***This role can sit in Dallas, TX (Will REQUIRE 50% Travel) OR Dickson, TN (Will REQUIRE 25% Travel)

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

• Support Director of Manufacturing Finance with strategic and tactical projects.
• Provide insights into variances and trends to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies.
• Identify and assess financial risks.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Assess the financial impact of business initiatives and provide recommendations.
• Become familiar with the development and analysis of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts and become a backup for plant controllers. Also serve as a backup for plant controllers regarding closing and reporting requirements.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Required Experience and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 6-8 years of job-related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of management experience.
• MBA, CPA or CMA certification are a plus.

• High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products, knowledge of SAP a plus.
• Basic knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
• High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.

Other Pertinent Job Information:

• This employee needs to be willing to travel up to 2 weeks per month if needed.
