About the PositionThe Department of Pathology is seeking a Manager of Accounting and General Finance to perform a variety of regular and recurring professional accounting functions involving reporting, reconciliations, reviews of multiple accounts and transactions, and fiscal interpretation and analysis. This individual will serve as subject matter expert on University, School of Medicine, and Department policy ensuring that university resources are used appropriately, in support of the mission, and comply with policies, laws, and sponsor or donor intent. This individual will supervise other staff members, delegate tasks and projects, and monitor work. In addition, they are responsible for reviewing all work for their team for quality excellence. It is expected the incumbent will be proactive, well organized, and have supervisor experience to lead a team. This individual will have strong communication skills, including the ability to prepare materials to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences. Regardless of your assignment, demonstrating strong business judgment, professional etiquette, and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills are expected.Duties Include

This role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate. The expected pay range for this position is $84,265 to $110,564 per annum.
Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
