Materials Handler / Kitting (Contract Role)

Job Description

*** PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION BASED OUT OF OUR LANCASTER, MA LOCATION ***

WHAT YOU'LL DO

* Perform a variety of coordinating, routing, and material handling duties to meet production schedules.

* Ensure materials are properly routed.

* Pick up and deliver materials within and outside the company.

* May maintain records on material flow.

* May monitor flow of materials and parts between departments.

* May expedite parts to remedy shortage problems.

* Work under general supervision on a wide range of assignments that require a substantial knowledge of the discipline or function.

* Follow established procedures, processes, or policies, but is expected to use judgment in resolving issues or recommending solutions.
* May participate in project teams or lead portions of projects.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse and inventory / material handling.

* Good communication skills and ability to work both in a team and independently.

* Proficient computer skills, to include Word, Excel and Outlook.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
