Location

Our Swampscott OBGYN office is located at 383 Paradise Road in Swampscott, MA. We are open Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

The primary location is our Swampscott office, with rotations to satellite sites in Danvers, Beverly, and Peabody. Locations and hours are typically posted on the Medical Assistant's schedule one week in advance.

Overview

Dedicated to clinical support as true partners to our providers, our Medical Assistants are trained to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification.

Our team of expert obstetricians and gynecologists provide high-quality compassionate care to woman of all ages, including annual check-ups, pre-and postnatal care, and advanced gynecologic surgery. Many of our physicians are specially trained in performing minimally invasive procedures.

What You Will Do

Our Medical Assistants partner with and work alongside a physician or advanced practice provider. Responsibilities include:

  • Functioning as a "flow manager"/ensuring efficient patient flow through the office
  • Assisting the Provider and/or Nurse with patient care during the office visit (examination, procedures, and treatments as directed)
  • Performing clinically appropriate tasks related patient panel management (phone triage, test results, prescription refill, coordination of care, etc.)
  • Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
  • Providing an exceptional care experience by interacting with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs.


Qualifications
Qualifications

  • Required:
    • High School diploma/GED
    • Either BLS or Annual Manikin training including CPR and AED after 6 months of hire
  • Strongly Preferred:
    • Medical Assistant Course or diploma program or a minimum of 1 year professional experience
    • National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
