Position Summary:

The MuleSoft Technical Lead will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform. You will work on a wide range of integration projects, including Salesforce integration, CloudHub deployment, and connector-based integrations to systems like Sharepoint, SFTP, Databases, and SMB File shares, and various vendor systems like LexisNexis, DealerTrack, RouteOne, Stripe, OpenLending and more. Your expertise will be critical in driving our digital transformation efforts and ensuring seamless connectivity across our ecosystem.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Integration Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration strategies that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Architecture and Design: Work with Architects and Lead the design of MuleSoft-based integration solutions, emphasizing scalability, reusability, and best practices.
  • Development: Hands-on development of MuleSoft integration solutions, including API led design, data transformation, and connector configurations.
  • Vendor Integrations and Connector Expertise: Utilize your extensive experience with MuleSoft connectors, including File, SFTP, and Database servers, and various 3rd party vendors, to facilitate seamless data exchange.
  • Salesforce Integration: Lead Salesforce integration projects, ensuring the smooth flow of data between Salesforce and other systems using Mulesoft as the integration layer.
  • CloudHub Deployment: Manage and optimize integrations on CloudHub, leveraging its capabilities for scalability and reliability. Expertise in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement robust testing processes, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to integration best practices.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously improve integration solutions for performance and reliability.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, specifications, and user guides. Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including testing requirements, defining clear goals for all aspects of a project and manage their proper execution.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate, guide development teams and review their work. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and other team members.
  • Leadership: Take charge of problems, build solutions and work with developers and testers to implement solutions. Communicate and consult across cross functional teams and stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Monitors processes, analyses performance after implementation, recommends improvements, and keeps stakeholders updated and informed on the progress.
  • Stays abreast of current and emerging trends, taking advantage of new technologies, and proposes changes where appropriate, articulating the benefits to partners and other stakeholders.
  • Complies with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • This position involves regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
  • Performs other duties as outlined in individual objectives.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing complex integrations with MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in developing high-availability and fault-tolerant integrations using MuleSoft with Salesforce.
  • A minimum 5 years experience leading technical teams, including onshore/offshore MuleSoft developers.

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in deploying and managing integration solutions on CloudHub/On-Prem.
  • Prior experience with third party vendor integrations, such as RDS, LexisNexis, DealerTrack, RouteOne, Stripe, OpenLending and more.
  • Must have MuleSoft Developer and MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect Certification.
  • Self-driven, Strong analytical, organizational, communication and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of IT security, Infrastructure, and Governance is a plus.
  • Experience working in a SAFe, DevOps/CICD, and Agile/Scrum development methodology.

  • Overtime required required on an as needed basis.
  • Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with Salesforce/MuleSoft/3rd party integrations in an Auto Finance setting.

Work Schedule This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed. Travel is required 10% of the time.
