RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive incoming shipments, verify their contents, and update inventory records accordingly.
- Keeping track of incoming and outgoing loads by checking trucks in and out on scheduling software.
- Enter inventory data into the company's database or inventory management software.
- Completing all necessary paperwork upon shipment receipt.
- Organizing and filing inbound paperwork.
- Work closely with the dock team to create a plan for inbound deliveries, i.e., where the items will be put away, to ensure a smooth process.
- Assist dock team in directing drivers, labeling material, and staying in contact with the guard shack.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with using inventory management software or tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
