Production Coordinator - Pulp Mill

Resource and team leader within a production unit in a participative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing processes and leading people in the pulp mill work unit.
• Adherence to safety, quality, environmental objectives and policies.
• Supporting and achieving department goals relevant to business objectives while abiding by personal and company values.
• Collaboration across mill departments to ensure material and production flow within the processes to meet customer needs.
• Supplier coordination and management meeting budget and quality requirements.
• Ensuring that customer expectations are met and exceeded - internal and external.
• Provides training and both technical and non-technical support for team members.

Technical Competencies:

• 3 years of supervisory experience,
• Degree in Pulp & Paper, Engineering, Business, Environmental or
• 10 years of operations experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Computer, communication, troubleshooting, analysis, and mechanical aptitude skills.
• Wood conversion and/or sulfite pulping experience desired.
• Wastewater Operator License desired.
• Successful experience in promoting a safe working environment.
