Packaging Engineer Manager

Location: Independence, MN
Salary: $85,000.00 USD Annually - $110,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Packaging Engineer Manager

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Utilize extensive knowledge of process development, packaging technology, and operations to create creative solutions and promote advancements in packaging operations.
• Provide and maintain technical documentation, such as guidelines for packaging testing.
• Set project priorities and collaborate closely with the purchasing and commercialization teams.
• Establish KPIs for both the internal team and outside vendors.
• Assume leadership of the packaging group and oversee the creation, testing, and design of the materials and supplies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in an engineering, related chemistry, packaging science, or packaging field
• A minimum of three years of people management and five years of packaging experience
• CPG background
• Experience designing films and bags for packaging manufacturers
• Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and time-management abilities to carry out project plans successfully
• Knowledge of the corrugate industry and its applications
